At DC Physiotherapy we pride ourselves on providing an outstanding level of care for our patients. We offer a variety of treatment options to help get you back to full fitness and function as quickly as possible. Our aim is to treat, motivate and inspire our patients to become more mobile, active and live free from pain.
We offer a thorough initial 45 minute assessment session following which the physiotherapist will discuss your diagnosis and individualised bespoke treatment program. An accurate assessment will determine the most appropriate course of treatment to suit you as an individual. Achieving the best recovery possible so that you can get back to doing what you enjoy most.
Manual physiotherapy is a a structured approach to delivering hands on physical therapy, this can involve joint mobilisations, manipulation and soft tissue massage. These treatment techniques are integrated with exercise, patient education, and other physical therapy modalities to address pain, loss of function, and wellness.
Acupuncture can provide a great source of pain relief for a variety of conditions. It involves stimulating sensory nerves under the skin and in the muscles.
This results in the body producing natural substances, such as pain-relieving endorphins. It's likely that these naturally released substances are responsible for the beneficial effects experienced with acupuncture.
Below are just some of the common benefits of acupuncture experienced by patients of our clinic:
